Claire Shepardson
LPC Intern
I believe the power of therapy lies in the opportunity it creates for people to learn about themselves. My goal as a clinician is to help clients to gain a deeper understanding of their symptoms and patterns and use their strengths to make positive life changes. Together, we’ll work towards healing at your own pace in a person-centered, strengths-based, non-judgmental environment. Laughter is always welcome!
I work from a collaborative and empathic approach and enjoy using evidence-based modalities such as ACT, DBT, CBT, IFS, and Faith-Based Practices. I am accepting clients of all ages and walks of life, with particular interest in child play therapy, adolescent/young adults, body image and eating issues, relationship concerns, anxiety, and depression.
In my free time, I enjoy all things Wisconsin and the great outdoors.
