Rachael Schmidt, LPC
Licensed Therapist
Are you feeling stressed, tired, or hopeless? College students, are you feeling overwhelmed with your semester and coping in a post pandemic world? Parents, are your teenagers struggling with irritability, school stress, anxiety, or depression?
Through EMDR, parts work/IFS, and CBT, our sessions will assist you with feeling more calm and lead to improved stress-management. Our work together provides you with a confidential space to discuss difficult topics and to learn psychoeducation on a wide variety of topics. Through an attachment lens, I hope to empower you to explore interpersonal relationships as well as give space for you to explore and understand your past and relationships.
As a therapist, I enjoy providing my clients warmth, support, and a direct teamwork approach. I typically schedule new clients weekly or every other week in a consistent time spot to make sure you are not fighting for your time.
I have my M.S. in Counseling from UW-Whitewater. In addition to my ongoing training in EMDR and IFS, I am excited to be starting my training journey in certified sex therapy. I see adolescents ages 13+, young adults, and adults.
