Sarah Maleck, LPC, LMFT
Licensed THerapist & Clinic Director
Welcome to Maleck Therapy! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping people get “unstuck” in their lives and their relationships.
We are creatures of habit and throughout our lives it is easy to find ourself in a rut, repeating unhelpful patterns of thoughts and behaviors because change is hard. Actually, that’s an understatement - change is REALLY HARD!
One of my favorite parts of the therapeutic process is joining with clients and helping to identify patterns they have learned from their upbringing, past relationships, and other life experiences. When we understand our patterns and the messages that we have internalized over time we are able to finally evaluate how well they are working for us, and make changes that better suit our lives now.
I firmly believe that clients are the experts on their own lives and it is important for the therapy process to reflect this. Using a client-centered approach, I help people identify their strengths and needs, and use these to find insight into ways to live their best life. I would love the opportunity to help you find your way towards change.
